This magnet is divided into two categories, an isotropic type(defined as identical in all directions) and an anisotropic type(defined as having properties that differ according to the direction of measurement).

The former is created by adding the thermosetting resin epoxy to MQP Nd powder made in GM, America and the latter by adding the thermosetting resin epoxy to Sm₂Co₁₇ powder.
